A new indie-folk inspired protest song - out now!
Sometimes a song is painstakingly crafted, with effort throughout; sometimes a song seemingly falls from the sky as if it had always existed and only needed someone to translate it from the ether to the 'real world.' "Remember Me" is the latter. This song poured out of me, from early morning idea to full production, in just three days. Thanks to those who found it on Bandcamp (where it released Jan 17, free of charge, as an impetus for community involvement). And thanks to those who are finding it now. The lyrics are painfully honest - based on my pondering what it must be like to have been murdered by your own country, then to be slandered by lies after passing. I know we will lift out of this as a country; but if I'm gone before that happens, Remember Me <3
